Lot clear on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage
This week’s work brought us to a property on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage outside of Mercer, where we established a driveway and completed a site clearing in preparation for a future storage garage.
The project involved removing trees within the planned building footprint while preserving surrounding trees that will remain part of the landscape. Care was taken to avoid unnecessary disturbance to adjacent root systems and to maintain the integrity of the remaining stand.
Our crew used a combination of saw work and compact equipment to efficiently process and remove material while keeping site impact controlled. The result is a clean, build-ready area that allows the excavator and builder to move in and proceed without delay.
Using a tree service for this phase of a project allows for more precise removal and better protection of desirable trees, compared to clearing performed solely with excavation equipment.
